TRANSPORTATION: The Milpitas City Council must become more proactive regionally to meet the needs of the residents of Milpitas.  The County of Santa Clara controls Montague Expressway while the State of California controls Calaveras Blvd.  There needs to be a balance for those coming to Milpitas to work and shop with those who drive through Milpitas to their jobs and for the residents of Milpitas to get around their city safely.  Much has been done but we need to do more for traffic relief in Milpitas.

QUALITY OF LIFE: As a 30 year resident of Milpitas, I know the importance of living in a safe city where we can live, shop and do business.  The quality of life for all of our residents remains a high priority for me.

EDUCATION: Education has always been a strong focus for me.  As a 19 year member of the Milpitas Board of Education, I know how important education is to our community.  Our children are the future and it is important that we provide them with a quality education in a safe environment.  I am proud of my long commitment to education and strongly believe in a collaborative partnership with the Milpitas Unified School District Board of Education.
